Helen Schneider has extensive work experience in various roles within the higher education sector. Helen started their career at Washington College as the Director of Institutional Research in 1988. Helen then moved to the Maryland Independent College and University Association, where they served as the Director of Research and Analysis from 1993 to 1998. Since 1998, they have been working at Loyola University Maryland, where they held the positions of Associate Vice President, Facilities and Campus Services, and currently serves as the Associate Vice President for Facilities and Risk Management.

Helen Schneider earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Psychology from the University of Virginia from 1982 to 1986. Helen later completed their MBA at the University of Delaware from 1992 to 1996.
