Xavier Cole currently serves as President at Loyola University New Orleans, beginning in June 2023, with a commitment to Ignatian leadership. Prior to this role, Xavier held various positions at Marquette University, including Adjunct Faculty from January 2018 to May 2023 and Vice President for Student Affairs from June 2016 to May 2023. Previous experience includes Vice President for Student Affairs at Washington College from June 2014 to May 2016 and a range of roles at Loyola University Maryland from 1995 to 2014, culminating in the position of Assistant Vice President for Student Development. Additional experience includes coordinating student activities and supporting the McNair Scholars Program at The College of St. Scholastica from July 1999 to May 2000. Xavier holds a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Administration from the University of Pennsylvania (2011-2013), a Master of Arts in American History from Miami University (1992-1995), and a Bachelor's Degree in History from the University of Mississippi (1988-1992).
