Sohaib Mohamed

Sohaib Mohamed is an Embedded Systems Engineer at LOYTEC electronics GmbH since February 2024, focusing on maintaining and expanding a Buildroot/Linux environment and developing new features at the operating system level. Previously, Sohaib participated in the Google Summer of Code from June to September 2022, contributing approximately 10,000 lines of production-ready code in C and Bash, as well as porting 12 eBPF performance tools to the PCP framework. Additionally, experience as a Linux System Engineer from February 2021 to June 2022 included contributions to Linux kernel development by submitting patches to fix memory leaks and designing new features after conducting thorough research. Sohaib obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Misr University for Science and Technology from 2019 to 2022.
