Ulf-Helmut Rieder

Ulf-Helmut Rieder is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the field of electrical drives and lighting technology. Currently serving as Product Manager for Lighting Solutions at LOYTEC electronics GmbH since October 2019, Rieder also plays a vital role as a member of the Board of Directors for the DALI Alliance since September 2019. Previously, Rieder was the Manager of R&D for both Electrical Drives & Lighting Technology and Division Electrical Drives at Lunatone Industrielle Elektronik GmbH from July 2006 to July 2019. Earlier in the career, Rieder served as a Research Assistant at the Institute for Electrical Drives and Machines at Technische Universität Wien from July 2001 to June 2006. Rieder holds a Doctor (Ph.D.) and MSc in Control and Automation Engineering as well as a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Technische Universität Wien, where education was completed from 1994 to 2005.
