Sara Smith

Sara Smith is a seasoned professional in human resources with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as a Senior People Business Partner at Lyttelton Port Company since February 2022, Sara previously held roles at Air New Zealand, starting as a Human Resource Advisor and advancing to Human Resources Business Partner from February 2018 to February 2022. Prior experience includes positions at Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu as a People and Performance Advisor and at Christchurch City Council in Human Resources Shared Services. Additionally, Sara contributed as a Coach for Avon Rowing Club between 2012 and 2014. Sara holds a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce from the University of Canterbury, completed in 2011.
