Shin Hirota has worked in the software engineering industry since 2005. Shin started their career at GE Healthcare as a Lead Software Integrator and Lead Software Engineer, where they worked on development of MRI (medical device) software and was team leading in a new product development of MR Software from 2013. In 2015, they started their personal business, tomeapp, as a Game Developer. Most recently, in 2021, they joined LPIXEL Inc. as a Software Engineer.
Shin Hirota obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Nihon University in 1996. Shin then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Computational Physics at the same university, which they obtained in 2003. In 2008, they obtained a Chinese Proficiency Test Grade 2 from The Society for Testing Chinese Proficiency, Japan. In 2004, they obtained a TOEIC score of 865 from The Institute for International Business Communication. Finally, in 1997, they obtained The EIKEN Test in Practical English Proficiency Grade pre-1 from the Eiken Foundation of Japan.
