Sho Kawabe

Sho Kawabe has a long and varied work experience. Starting in 2021, they have been a Project Manager at Anaut, Inc., a Director/Center for Collaboration in Research and Innovation at Fujita Health University, and a Project Manager at LPIXEL Inc. In 2020, they were the Founder of Medical Technology Acceleration Platform LLC and a Project Manager at Healthcare AI Startup. In 2019, they were a RA/QA Specialist at Pixel. In 2018, they were a Summer Intern at Industrial Growth Platform Inc. and Mayo Clinic, and a Student Consultant at ResMetrix Medical Ltd. Lastly, from 2008 to 2021, they were a Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist and Regulatory Affairs Specialist at Nihon Kohden. During their time there, they acquired and maintained market approval for medical devices, conducted manufacturing inspections, monitored shipment of in-vitro diagnostic agents, managed insurance coverage procedures, and conducted import regulatory procedures.

Sho Kawabe received a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Teikyo University in 2008, majoring in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Administration. Sho also obtained a Pharmacist license in Japan from the MHLW (Ministry of Health Labour and Welfare) in April 2008 and a Certificate for Biomedical Engineering (Class2) from the Public Welfare Corporation Japan Society of Human Genetics in the same year. In 2009, they obtained a Secretarial Skills Test, 2nd Grade from The Institute of Jitsumu Ginou Kentei and an Eiken Grade 1 from the Eiken Foundation of Japan in 2010. In 2017, they began a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business, graduating in 2019 with a major in Business Administration and Management, General. In 2019, they also obtained an IPMA Level D from IPMA: International Practice Management Association and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers.
