Jonathan Haig has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Jonathan began their career as a Pyrotechnic Engineer at SWPF:UK in 1997 and worked there until 2001. Jonathan then joined Paperchase as a Sales Assistant, where they supported the PR/Marketing department and directly coordinated with magazines. Jonathan worked at Paperchase until 2001.
From 2002 to 2003, Jonathan worked at Blom Aerofilms Limited as a Digital Map Editor & Sales Assistant. Following that, they joined Leibniz University of Hannover as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter from 2003 to 2004.
In 2004, Jonathan joined GOM Metrology as a Director of Marketing and worked in that role until 2019. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as a Senior Digital Customer Experience Manager at HARTING.
Starting from 2020 to 2022, Jonathan held the position of Head of Marketing at Veolia Water Technologies Deutschland GmbH.
Currently, Jonathan works as the Head of Corporate Marketing and Sales Excellence at LPKF Laser & Electronics SE, a position they have held since 2022.
Jonathan Haig attended Eastbourne College from 1992 to 1997 and obtained A-Levels in Mathematics, Physics, and Geography. Jonathan then went on to study at UCL from 1997 to 2001, obtaining a BSc in Geology. In 2001, they continued their education at UCL and completed an MSc in Photogrammetry & Remote Sensing in 2002.

Its products are aimed at customers in the automotive, electronics, telecommunications and solar sectors. The Group is active in the following segments: Rapid Prototyping offers solutions for the in-house prototyping and assembly of various PCBs without the use of chemicals; Cutting and Structuring Lasers division supplies laser systems and process expertise for the production of interconnect devices; Joining Technologies segment sells laser systems for welding plastic components; Thin-film Technologies segment is involved with the development and production of laser systems for scribing thin-film solar panels and other segments include production services. In December 2013, the Company acquired shares in its Slovenia-based subsidiary, LPKF Laser & Elektronika doo, thus holding 100% of the shares in all of its subsidiaries.
