Tim McNaught

Tim McNaught is a Senior Information Security Engineer at LPL Financial, where they conduct proactive monitoring and investigation of security incidents. They previously served as a Digital Forensics Examiner and Detective Sergeant with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the City of Urbana, Illinois, specializing in computer crimes, juvenile investigations, and digital forensics. With extensive law enforcement experience, Tim has testified as an expert witness in court and established the Urbana Police Department's first digital forensics lab. Tim holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Systems Security from the University of Illinois Springfield and is currently pursuing an Associate of Science in Mathematics at Parkland College.
