Hendra Utama

Hendra Utama is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in halal certification and communication. With a long tenure at LPPOM MUI since July 1997, Hendra serves as a Media Expert, Scientific Judgement Board Member, Auditor, and Advisor for Halal Communication. In addition, Hendra has been a Halal Assessor for LSP MUI since June 2017 and a Halal Trainer since May 2009, providing training to companies and foreign halal certification bodies. Hendra also held the position of Alternate Head of the Working Group on Halal Products and Services for the Indonesia Malaysia Thailand Growth Triangle Cooperation from September 2013 to September 2017, and represented Indonesia in the ASEAN Working Group on Halal Food from May 2012 to July 2017. Hendra holds a Bachelor's degree in Agroindustrial Technology and a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management from IPB University.
