Andres Perez Vargas

Andres Perez Vargas is a prominent figure in the Latin American mortgage banking sector, currently serving as Founder and CEO of LQN since January 2018, focused on improving mortgage credit experiences for middle and lower-class Latin Americans using digital processes and advanced technology. As a co-founder of Colombia Proptech, Andres has played a pivotal role in advancing technology-driven businesses within the construction and housing sector in Latin America, notably leading the association to become the largest and most recognized in the region. Previous experience includes co-founding The Garden Box, serving in various roles at Banco de Bogotá where responsibilities ranged from housing financing to strategic development for SMEs, and contributing to research projects at Universidad de los Andes. Andres holds a Master's degree in Economics from Universidad de los Andes and has furthered education in business and English at South Thames College.
