Karyn Silverman

Karyn Silverman is an experienced library and information science professional currently serving as the Director of Digital Resources at LREI, where Karyn has held various roles since September 2004, including Senior Project Coordinator and High School Librarian. Additionally, Karyn is a Reviewer for Kirkus Reviews, providing insights on 1-3 titles monthly, primarily in young adult literature. Prior experience includes working as a Youth Services Librarian at The New York Public Library from August 2001 to August 2004. Karyn holds a Master of Library & Information Science from the University at Albany, specializing in Children and Youth Library Services, and earned a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Kenyon College.
