Arindama Banerjee

Arindama Banerjee has extensive experience in the field of responsible sourcing and compliance. Arindama started their career in 2005 as an Executive in Engineering and Safety at Maral Overseas Ltd., where they handled certification programs and conducted risk assessments. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as a Lead Auditor at SGS India Pvt Ltd, managing clients and conducting audits in various sectors. Arindama then joined Oxylane Group (Decathlon) as a Quality and Social Manager, where they focused on ethical sourcing and autonomous quality checks. In 2009, they worked as a Senior Compliance Officer at Next Group PLC. From 2011 to 2013, they served as the Head of Ethical Business Solutions at IRFT-International Resources for Fairer Trade, conducting social compliance and HSE audits for various retailers. Arindama's next role was as a Responsible Sourcing Manager at Tesco Sourcing, where they developed and implemented responsible sourcing strategies in India and Sri Lanka. Currently, they are working at LRQA as an Associate Director in Client Services and Responsible Sourcing.

Arindama Banerjee holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Fire Technology & Industrial Safety from the Institute of Engineering & Science, IPS Academy, Indore. They also have a Post Graduate Diploma in Operations Management/Customer Relationship Management from Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning. Additionally, Arindama has obtained certifications in "Giving Your Elevator Pitch" and "Inclusive Leadership" from LinkedIn, as well as the "SA 8000 Advanced Auditor" certification from Social Accountability International.
