Kimberly Carey Coffin has extensive experience in the food industry, particularly in roles related to food safety and quality assurance. Kimberly is currently working as the Global Technical Director - Supply Chain Assurance at LRQA since March 2020. Prior to this, they worked at SAI Global Assurance for a considerable period, starting in 2000. During their time at SAI Global Assurance, they held various positions including Global Head of Food, Retail and Hospitality, Director - Global Accounts, Manager - Client Solutions and Innovation, and Food Safety Lead Auditor/Technical Program Manager. Before joining SAI Global Assurance, Kimberly had their own Independent Consultancy where they provided support to the food industry by assessing quality and food safety systems, making recommendations for improvement, and sharing best practices. Kimberly also worked at The Quaker Oats Company in different roles, including Field Operations Manager, Regional Manager, Corporate Supervisor, and Senior Supervisor, focusing on quality assurance and contract manufacturing. Overall, Kimberly Coffin has extensive expertise in the food industry, particularly in food safety, quality assurance, and supply chain assurance.
Kimberly Carey Coffin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science from Michigan State University, where they studied from 1981 to 1985.
