Raj Kaur

Raj Kaur, MA, MCIPD has extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Raj'smost recent position was as the Chief People Officer at LRQA, a role they began in March 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Human Resources Director at LRQA from November 2021 to March 2022.

Before joining LRQA, Raj held various roles at Lloyd's Register, starting in 2013. Raj served as the HR Director for Business Assurance and Inspection Services from September 2016 to November 2021, where they were responsible for leading a global team of 2,700 employees. Prior to that, they were a Global HR Business Partner for the Inspection Service Line and a HR Business Partner for the Energy division at Lloyd's Register.

Raj also gained valuable experience at Boots, where they worked as a Senior HR Manager and led the development of a HR policy modernisation programme, as well as created a Diversity and Inclusion Strategy for Boots UK.

During their time at Citi, Raj worked as a Senior HR Business Partner, where they partnered with five Executive Committee Members to maximize the effectiveness of people within their business areas and develop the HR strategy that aligned with the overall business strategy.

Earlier in their career, Raj worked at Prudential Financial and Egg, where they held various HR roles including HR Business Partner and Project Coordinator.

Raj Kaur completed their education in human resources management at the University of Derby. Raj obtained a Master's degree in Human Resources Management in 2005, followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in 2004, and a Postgraduate Certificate in 2003. In 2002, they completed a CIPD Certificate of Personnel Practice.
