Shyam Gopalakrishnan

Shyam Gopalakrishnan is a seasoned technical manager and pressure equipment technical specialist at LRQA since December 2021, where responsibilities include representing the organization in key regulatory and industry bodies and providing expert guidance on CE marking strategies and compliance with various international and Indian standards. Prior to this role, Shyam was the team leader of the Technical Review Center, establishing and scaling operations in Mumbai, and previously held positions at Lloyd's Register and SPIC, accumulating extensive experience in design appraisal and engineering inspections. Shyam's academic credentials include a Master of Technology in Quality Management from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Mepco Schlenk Engineering College.
