Amos Eckel Jr

Amos Eckel, Jr. is an experienced CNC Machinist currently employed at L&S Machine Co., LLC since November 2018, with prior roles at Versatec LLC and Comptec, where expertise in machining, CNC turning and milling, weldments, and assembly was developed. A strong background in machining various composite materials and operating HAAS machines utilizing GibbsCAM programming was gained at Comptec, alongside skills in CNC grinding and inspection at General Carbide Corporation. Previous experience includes operating CNC lathes and mills with precision, as well as an extensive career beginning as an EDM Operator at St. George Crystal, where mold production for an in-house glass factory was managed. Amos Eckel, Jr. also founded Famous Transportation Company, Inc., overseeing logistics and goods transportation across North America, and served as a dispatcher at McCann Transportation. Educational qualifications include an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Machine Technology from Westmoreland County Community College.
