Debbie Murphy

Debbie Murphy has over 30 years of experience in the energy industry. Debbie is currently the Director of Project Development at LS Power, starting in 2023. Previously, they served as the Lead Project Developer for Hydrogen at Monolith from 2022 to 2023, where they managed large complex commercial development projects in the clean hydrogen space. Before that, they worked as a Renewable Energy Developer at American Electric Power from 2021 to 2022. From 2011 to 2021, they held the position of Vice President at EMBERCLEAR, where they supported the development and financing of natural gas, hydrogen, and renewables-based projects. Prior to that, they were the Senior Director of the Permian Basin Marketplace at Key Energy Services, Inc. from 2008 to 2010. Debbie also served as the VP of Project Development at DKRW Advanced Fuels LLC from 2005 to 2008 and held the role of Vice President of Commercial Development at NATIONS ENERGY HOLDINGS LLC from 1998 to 2002. Their earlier experience includes positions such as Director of Energy at Air Liquide America from 1994 to 1998, and Project Developer/Financial Analyst at HYDRA-CO from 1988 to 1993.

Debbie Murphy holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from Syracuse University. Debbie also completed an Executive Management Program at INSEAD. Additionally, Debbie earned a Master's Degree in Accounting from Syracuse University and a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from the University of Rhode Island. Apart from their formal education, they obtained a certification in "Reid Hoffman and Chris Yeh on Blitzscaling" from LinkedIn in September 2021.
