Scott Castro is currently the Senior Counsel for Project Development at LS Power, specializing in renewable energy and natural resource law. With a legal career that includes roles as Managing Attorney at NextEra Energy Resources and Partner at Jeffer, Mangels, Butler and Mitchell, they have significant experience in M&A, transactions, and litigation. Additionally, Scott has served as President and Chair of the San Francisco Lacrosse Club, overseeing operations for a youth non-profit program. Scott earned a JD from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, and holds an MS in Ecology and Evolution from Rutgers University.
