Ryan Bensley

Ryan Bensley has extensive experience in various roles throughout their career. Ryan began their career as a Resident Relations Director at Ferro Management, where they conducted market research and created rent growth strategies for a property management and development company. Afterward, they worked as a Senior Administrative Intern at the City of Santa Ana, where they completed special projects for redevelopment project managers and administered a façade improvement program. Ryan then served as a Senior Planner at Urban Futures Inc., managing the preparation of complex analyses and technical reports for local government agencies. Ryan later joined the Boy Scouts of America as a Volunteer Cubmaster, planning outdoor activities and teaching young men about conservation and sustainability. Currently, Ryan is a Principal at LSA Associates, Inc., overseeing the preparation of environmental impact analyses for infrastructure and development projects in Southern California.

Ryan Bensley has a BA in Geography from California State University, Long Beach, obtained in 2006. Prior to that, they studied Film/Cinema/Video Studies at Orange Coast College from 1999 to 2004, and Communications at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 1998 to 1999. In 2015, they obtained a certification called AICP from the American Planning Association.
