Ilja Nivskis

Ilja Nivskis is a seasoned maritime professional with extensive experience in various roles within the shipping industry. Currently serving as a Master Mariner at LSC since May 2021, specializing in Asphalt/Bitumen tankers, Ilja has also held a maritime advisor position at Marine Digital GmbH, focusing on vessel performance and energy efficiency monitoring. Prior experience includes volunteer work with the Association of Maritime Digitalization and Innovation and a role as a Maritime Safety and Security Instructor at Novikontas, where Ilja prepared seamans for duties in safety and security. Ilja began a career at Tarbit Tankers Services B.V. as Chief Officer and 2nd Officer, with earlier roles at Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Corporation and V.Ships.
