Dr Wendy Wigley has a diverse range of work experience in the field of higher education and healthcare. Dr Wendy has worked as the Head of Student Lifecycle & Partnerships Manager at the London School of Science & Technology, where they provided strategic and operational direction for student support services. Prior to this, they worked as a Bank Health Visitor at Solent NHS Trust.

Dr Wigley also has experience as an Independent Consultant at AMMONITE DESIGN LTD, where they focused on designing and delivering quality learning and teaching in the healthcare sector. Dr Wendy Wigley obtained their NMC registration Part 1 and Part 3 in Public Health Nursing from The Nursing and Midwifery Council in December 1983.

In 1992 to 1994, they studied at King Alfred's College Winchester and earned their degree in Adult Health Nursing (RGN).

From 1996 to 1997, they pursued a Diploma in Higher Education in Pediatric Nursing at the University of Portsmouth.

In 1999 to 2000, Dr Wendy Wigley furthered their education at the University of Surrey and earned a BSc (Hons) in Specialist Practice in Community Health Care with a focus on Health Visiting.

In 2005 to 2006, they attended the University of Southampton and obtained a Post Graduate Certificate (MSc 60 credit) in Academic Practice, specifically in teaching.

Lastly, from 2007 to 2013, Dr Wendy Wigley conducted research at the University of Southampton and earned a Research Doctorate in Nursing Science.
