Jeff Kuehny

Jeff Kuehny serves as the Director of the LSU AgCenter Botanic Gardens at Burden since January 2010, following a distinguished career at Louisiana State University where Kuehny worked from June 1994 to December 2009 as a Professor of Horticulture. In this role, Kuehny taught a wide range of courses including Introduction to Horticulture, Herbaceous Plant Materials, and Landscape Management, among others. Additionally, Kuehny conducted significant research focused on water quality, the effects of nutrition on containerized plant production, cut flower production, postharvest physiology, and the cultivation of new ornamental crops, addressing critical issues such as stormwater quality in urban environments.
