Scott Madere, Ph.D., currently serves as an Instructor in the International Studies Program at Louisiana State University since August 2024, following a tenure as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Assistant Instructor in the LSU Department of History from August 2018 to December 2024. Prior experience includes roles such as Graduate Assistant for LSU Graduate School Admissions and various positions in communications and marketing, including Director of Marketing at WorkSite Lighting and Director of Communications at both the Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana and the Louisiana Secretary of State. Scott began a career in journalism as a News Producer at several television stations, including WAFB TV and FOX6 WBRC.
