Vinit Sehgal currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Louisiana State University and the LSU AgCenter, positions held since October 2023. Prior to this, Vinit was a Graduate Research Assistant at Texas A&M University from September 2017 to August 2023, and at Virginia Tech from August 2015 to June 2017. Vinit holds a PhD in Water Management & Hydrological Science from Texas A&M University, earned in August 2023, and a Master of Science in Biological Systems Engineering with a specialization in Watershed Management and Science from Virginia Tech, obtained in 2017. Vinit also holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, completed in 2013.
