Amira Arafat

Amira Arafat possesses seventeen years of extensive experience in Pre-Award and Post Award Contracts Management and Tendering. Currently serving as Sr. Manager Contracts at L&T Construction since June 2024, Amira is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) since April 2023. Prior experience includes the role of Deputy Manager Contracts and Lead Contracts Engineer at Metito from December 2008 to June 2024, where responsibilities encompassed tender review, risk assessment, negotiations, preparation of subcontracts, and claims management. Amira's career began as a Contracts Engineer at The Arab Contractors, focusing on tender issuance and evaluation. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in water treatment from Mansoura University, Egypt, and a Certificate of Attainment in FIDC Claims Management from CIOB Academy. Amira is proficient in FIDIC and various governmental and bespoke contract forms.
