Kavita Shetty

Kavita Shetty currently serves as Chief Compliance Officer and Head Legal at L&T Finance since September 2015, where responsibilities include advising on documentation and project finance in renewable and road sectors as well as leading strategic projects for Retail and Corporate. Prior to this role, Kavita was Head Legal at ICICI Bank from June 2011 to September 2015, overseeing special situation assets and managing litigation and transaction structuring. Earlier experience at ICICI Bank from 2004 to 2010 included positions as Legal Group Head and Manager in Wholesale Banking, focusing on document simplification and recovery strategies for stressed assets. Kavita's career began as an Advocate at law firms Mulla & Mulla and Craigie Blunt & Caroe, followed by M. Dhruva and Partners, gaining experience in litigation and legal documentation. Additionally, Kavita worked at Colgate-Palmolive as Assistant Manager Legal, handling IPR and legal metrology issues.
