Homi Bamba has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. Homi started their career in 1988 as a Branch Manager at United India Insurance Company Ltd. Homi then worked at Reliance General Insurance Company Ltd. from 2000 to 2008, holding positions such as Asstt. Vice President/Dy. Vice President and Deputy Vice President and Regional Head. From 2008 to 2011, they served as Vice President at HDFC ERGO General Insurance Company Ltd. and Head of Corporate, Rural, and Agri Business. Homi then held the role of Head of Health Business at Reliance General Insurance Company Ltd. from 2011 to 2012. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as the Head of Health Business at Tata AIG General Insurance Company Limited. Homi then joined L&T General Insurance Company Limited in 2015 as the Zonal Head Corporate Sales. Currently, they are serving as the Senior Vice President of the Corporate Business Group at HDFC ERGO General Insurance.
Homi Bamba completed their B.Sc degree from Panjab University between 1981 and 1985. Homi then pursued an M.Sc degree in Dairy Bacteriology from the National Dairy Research Institute from 1985 to 1988.
