Teemu Salmela

Teemu Salmela has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Teemu started their career at NK Cables as a Project Engineer from 2000 to 2003. Then, they worked as a Project Engineer at YIT Primatel Oy from 2003 to 2004. Subsequently, they joined Turun Linjatekniikka Oy as a Project Manager from 2004 to 2005. Teemu then moved on to Lassila & Tikanoja, where they held various positions, including Unit Manager from 2005 to 2008, Production Director from 2008 to 2009, and Service Director from 2009 to 2012. Currently, they are working as the Business Director at Lassila & Tikanoja since 2013. Teemu's main responsibility is to develop and increase the hazardous waste business in Finland by executing and delivering on the company strategy.

Teemu Salmela holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management from Swansea University, which they completed from 2002 to 2004. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B. Eng.) degree in Industrial Management and Engineering from Häme Polytechnic from 2001 to 2003. Before pursuing their bachelor's degree, they earned another Bachelor of Engineering (B. Eng.) degree in Civil Engineering from Turku Polytechnic, which they completed from 1995 to 1999. Teemu Salmela also attended Kosken Lukio for their upper secondary education from 1989 to 1992.
