Sharad Balyapelli

Sharad Balyapelli is an experienced IT professional with a robust background in security and compliance. At Accenture Solution Pvt Limited from December 2010 to September 2015, Sharad conducted internal assessments for certification programs like ISO 27001 and managed internal audits. Previously, Sharad held roles at Capgemini Technology India Pvt Ltd as a Windows Team Lead and at Accenture as an Information Technology Operations Lead, managing large teams and IT operations across multiple locations. Currently, as a Principal Director at LTIMindtree since July 2025, Sharad oversees significant cybersecurity practices, managing a vast client portfolio and a team of over 250 resources. Sharad also holds professional certifications including CRISC, CISA, ISMS LA, and CEH, and earned a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IME) from 1996 to 2000.
