Nate Jones

Nate Jones has a diverse work experience in the field of data science. Nate started their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Computational Physiology Lab, where they collected, processed, and analyzed data to study stress in the workplace.

Later, Nate worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Illinois Institute of Technology.

Nate then joined the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media as a Researcher, where they collected and analyzed datasets to identify bias in media. Nate also managed the institute's AWS cloud infrastructure and developed machine learning models for various projects.

Nate also worked at ShopRunner as a Data Scientist, where they developed a recommendations library and fraud detection model. Nate achieved significant improvements in click-to-open rates and login anomaly detection.

Afterwards, they joined The Mom Project as a Senior Data Scientist, where they built a cold-start optimized recommendations system and developed a library for duplicate project detection.

Nate then worked at Condé Nast as a Data Scientist, where they trained and implemented a document classification model that outperformed existing models in content recommendation tasks.

Nate'smost recent role is as a Senior Data Scientist at LTK (formerly rewardStyle & LIKEtoKNOW.it).

Nate Jones completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Illinois Institute of Technology from 2016 to 2019. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Data Science from the same institution, which they completed from 2018 to 2019.
