Marja Hoorweg

Marja Hoorweg is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the agrifood sector. Currently serving as a Kenniscoördinator at Praktijknetwerk Bloembollenteelt Flevoland since August 2024, Hoorweg has held various prominent positions, including bestuurslid and interim voorzitter at LTO Noord since May 2021. A project manager for agrarian entrepreneurs at Florissant Projecten since May 2009, Hoorweg has also worked as an interim project manager for the program Landbouw Meerdere Smaken at Horizon Flevoland from April 2022 to June 2024. Previous roles include coordinator at LEADER Flevoland, coordinator of the Tulips4all growers' association, account manager at Royal FloraHolland, and account manager at AgroFresh. Hoorweg began a career in research and project leadership in the Economics & Management team at Wageningen University & Research after obtaining a degree from Wageningen University & Research from 1998 to 2002.
