Ori Ben David, Ph.D has extensive work experience in various roles within the fields of R&D and engineering. Ori is currently the VP R&D at LTS Lohmann Therapie-Systeme AG since 2023. Prior to that, they served as the VP R&D - Pharmaceutical Solutions at Eitan Medical from 2020 to 2023, during which they also held various other positions such as VP R&D - Sorrel medical, Director of R&D - Sorrel medical, and Manager of research and mechanics - Qcore medical.
Before joining Eitan Medical, Dr. Ben David worked as the Director of R&D at Bmax from 2014 to 2016, where they focused on high voltage high current components and magnetic pulse systems. Ori also has experience as a PHD Graduate Student at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where they conducted research on metal phase change under magnetic forces.
Earlier in their career, Dr. Ben David worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Mellanox Technologies, specializing in interconnects solutions for data center servers and storage systems. Ori also worked briefly as a Heat and mass transfer engineer at Rafael Advanced Defense Systems.
In addition, Dr. Ben David has experience as a tutor of building and programming Mindstorm Robotics at Golanix Robotics LTD, and as a Helpdesk employee at Ness Technologies. Ori also served in the Intelligence Corps of the Israel Defense Forces.
Throughout their career, Dr. Ben David has been involved in various research and development projects, patenting innovations, managing intellectual property portfolios, and constructing numerical models for stress, load, and thermal problems. Their expertise spans multiple industries, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, defense, and robotics.
Ori Ben David Ph.D pursued higher education at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. From 2009 to 2012, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Energy, specifically fluids and thermodynamics. Ori then went on to complete their Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, again at Ben-Gurion University, from 2011 to 2013, further specializing in the field of Energy, including fluids, MHD (magnetohydrodynamics), phase changes, and thermodynamics. Ori Ben David Ph.D continued their academic journey at the same university and successfully earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Energy from 2013 to 2016. Their doctoral research encompassed a wide range of topics within the field, including fluids, MHD, phase changes, and thermodynamics.
