Lance Schmidt

Lance Schmidt, MBA, currently serves as the Assistant Human Resources Director and has held various roles including Data Science Manager - HRIS and Human Resources Generalist at Lubbock County since January 2019. Prior to this, Lance was a Motor Transport Operator in the Nebraska Army National Guard from March 2014 to February 2019. Additional experience includes a position as Business Development Specialist at Hastings Ford Lincoln from April 2018 to December 2018 and coaching roles at Hastings St. Cecilia, covering multiple sports for six seasons. Academically, Lance obtained a Master of Business Administration from Western Governors University in February 2023, and holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Business Administration and Recreation & Sport Management from Hastings College, alongside an Associate of Arts in General Studies from Central Community College.
