Michele Campbell has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Michele began their career in 1990 as an English teacher at O.L. Slaton Junior High in Lubbock ISD. After twelve years, they transitioned to Lubbock High School, where they served as an English teacher for four years before becoming the Librarian in 2006. Michele held this position until 2019 when they joined Tandem as a Support Specialist for a brief period. Later in 2019, they joined Lubbock County as the Law Library Director, where they currently work.

Michele Campbell obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English from Texas Tech University in the period between 1984 and 1989. Michele later pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Library and Information Science from the University of North Texas, which they completed from 2006 to 2009. Michele also holds certifications from the Texas Education Agency, including "Texas Educator Certification; School Librarian" obtained in 2006, and "Texas Educator Certification; Secondary English (Grades 6-12)" obtained in 1989. Additionally, they are a Google Certified Educator Levels 1 and 2, although the specific timeframe for obtaining these certifications is not provided.
