Dr. Daniela Villone

Dr. Daniela Villone has an extensive work experience in various companies and roles. Dr. Daniela started their career at Pentapharm in 2001 as an R&D professional. After that, they worked at Universitaetsklinikum Muenster as a Postdoc Biochemical Research from 2008 to 2008. Dr. Daniela then joined Heraeus Medical GmbH as a Junior Product Manager Revision from 2008 to 2009. Later, they held roles at Heraeus Medical, including International Product Manager Revision and Infection from 2010 to 2010, and International Lead Product Manager Bone Graft Substitutes from 2010 to 2011. In 2011, Dr. Villone became a Product Manager Dermatology at Abbott, where they stayed until 2012. Dr. Daniela then worked at Abbvie as an Adherence Manager Immunology from 2012 to 2014, and Group Patient Experience Manager from 2014 to 2015. From 2015 to 2018, they served as a Member of the Management Board and Senior Marketing Manager at Johnson & Johnson Diabetes Care Companies. Currently, they hold the positions of Global Business Director Food & Pharma and Sales Director at LUBCON (Lubricant Consult GmbH) starting from December 2018 and August 2023 respectively.

Dr. Daniela Villone's education history includes a PhD in Interactions at dermo epidermal junction zone and collagens from the University of Münster, which they obtained from 2003 to 2008. Prior to that, they were at the Max Planck Institut für vaskuläre Biologie from 2002 to 2003, studying cell migration at the blood brain barrier using a mouse model for Multiple Sclerosis. Dr. Daniela earned their Diplom in Chemistry from the University of Münster between 1996 and 2001. In 2000, they also attended UC Santa Barbara, where they studied molecular biology and protein biochemistry.
