Chris Demas

Chris Demas is an experienced Intellectual Property Attorney with a background in both law and engineering. Currently employed at The Lubrizol Corporation since January 2011, Chris specializes in intellectual property issues. Prior experience as an associate at Pearne & Gordon LLP involved preparing and prosecuting patent and trademark applications while advising clients on patentability, validity, and infringement matters. Before transitioning to law, Chris worked as a Commercialization Engineer at Sherwin Williams, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring paint formulations from the lab to market. Chris holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Cleveland State University - Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
