Gareth Flood

Gareth Flood has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Gareth is currently serving as the Senior Director of Global Marketing at The Lubrizol Corporation since August 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Strategic Marketing & Business Development at the same company from October 2020 to August 2023.

Before joining The Lubrizol Corporation, Gareth worked as a Principal at S T Growth Ltd. starting from August 2020.

Gareth's extensive career includes various roles at Shell, where they had been associated since 2001. Notable positions held by him at Shell include Marketing Director at Shell International, Chief Marketing Officer at Shell Lubricants India, and General Manager of Marketing in different capacities. Some of their significant achievements include driving business growth through brand building, developing marketing plans, leading global marketing teams, and managing key accounts and pricing policies. Before Shell, Gareth worked as a Marketing Consultant at Mandala from September 1999 to September 2001.

Gareth Flood completed their Bachelor of Commerce (First Class Honours) in Marketing at The University of Auckland from 1995 to 1999. In 2019, they earned a Certificate in Leadership in Digital from IMD and a Certificate in Customer Centric Organization from Kellogg Executive Education. Additionally, they also obtained a Bachelor of Arts (First Class Honours) in English & Film from The University of Auckland during the same period as their Bachelor of Commerce degree.
