Luana Fortuna

Luana Fortuna is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and data privacy. Currently serving as Gerente Jurídico at The Lubrizol Corporation since February 2013, Luana oversees the legal department for Latin America, providing strategic legal support across various domains, including compliance, contracts, and M&A. In the role of Global Data Privacy Officer, Luana led the restructuring of the company’s global privacy program and ensured compliance with data protection laws. Additionally, Luana held the position of Senior Legal Counsel for Latin America, advising on legal matters, contract negotiation, and data protection initiatives. Prior to The Lubrizol Corporation, Luana worked as a Coordinator and Lawyer at Van Erven Serrano Advogados Associados and gained initial experience as an intern at the Defensoria Pública do Estado do Rio de Janeiro and a conciliator at XVIII Juizado Especial Criminal. Luana holds an LLM in Corporate Law and multiple degrees in legal studies.
