Nathan Rohner

Nathan Rohner is a Scientist at The Lubrizol Corporation, leading the Applied R&D Medical Polymers lab to enhance biocompatibility and processing of medical thermoplastic polyurethanes since October 2021. Prior experience includes a Sr Research Associate role at Case Western Reserve University where oversight of assay development focused on improving clot dynamics, and a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the same institution, where polymer processing techniques for drug delivery were established alongside mechanical testing of polymer-coated sutures. Nathan has held various teaching and research positions, contributing to the field of biomaterials through both academic and industrial settings, with a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
