Holly Shayler is an experienced GIS Consultant at LUC since October 2022, with a background in research support, project coordination, and demographic analysis. Previously, Holly served as a Research Support Officer at The University of Edinburgh, where duties included managing the inbox and calendar of Professor Helen Colhoun and assisting in administrative support for research projects. Holly's role as an Academic Enhancement Project Officer at SRUC involved data analysis related to student demographics and inclusivity. Earlier experience includes working at BC Hydro as a Project Coordinator, handling customer inquiries and processing applications, as well as temporary administrative roles that included managing director-level schedules. Holly began their career as a Demographic Analyst at Edge Analytics, focusing on local authority collaboration and geospatial mapping. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Geographical Information Science from The University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Spanish from the University of Leeds.
