Ambet Manalo

Ambet Manalo is an experienced design professional currently serving as the Woodworkshop Manager, MixMediaLab workshop assistant manager, and Design lecturer at LUCA School of Arts since February 2014. With a background in design and production, Ambet founded Houtbaar + and Houtbaar workshops, where involvement included design, communication, development, social media, prototyping, and teaching from 2015 to 2019. Ambet has also contributed to education as a woodworking teacher at various institutions, including GO!MAD and IBSO De Horizon Aalst, while undertaking roles as a visiting lecturer and art handler. Ambet holds multiple degrees from LUCA School of Arts and CVO Kisp, including Bachelor's degrees in Interior Design and Teacher Education.
