Simon Van Damme

Simon Van Damme serves as the Algemeen directeur at LUCA School of Arts and as Decaan geassocieerde Faculteit Kunsten at KU Leuven since October 2018. Prior experience includes advisor for higher education at the Kabinet van Vlaams viceminister-president Hilde Crevits from September 2014 to September 2018, as well as staff member and postdoctoral researcher roles at ASSOCIATIE KU Leuven and K.U.Leuven respectively. Simon Van Damme holds a PhD in Musicology from KU Leuven and a Licentiaat in Musicologie from the same institution, complemented by a License in Musicologie from Université Paris-Sorbonne. Early education includes a focus on Latin and Mathematics at Sint-Lodewijkscollege Brugge.
