Ayesha Hira

Ayesha Hira, CFA has a diverse work experience in the mining and jewelry industry. Ayesha is currently serving as the VP of Corporate Development & Strategy at Lucara Diamond Corporation since 2018. Ayesha is also a Board Member of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), a global membership and standards body for responsible jewelry. Before joining Lucara, they worked at Jefferies as a Mining Specialist in Institutional Equity Sales from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they held the position of Director in Institutional Equity Sales, Global Mining at RBC Capital Markets from 2004 to 2013. Ayesha also worked as a Gold Equity Analyst at CIBC Capital Markets from 2000 to 2004 and started their career as a Geologist at De Beers Canada Inc in 1998. Ayesha has also worked in various geological roles at Geological Survey of Canada, Roxmark Mines, Rupert Resources, and Queen's University from 1995 to 1998.

Ayesha Hira, CFA has a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Geology from Queen's University. In addition, they obtained their CFA certification from the CFA Institute in 2003.
