Lucas Metropolitan Housing
Michelle Turner has over 25 years of experience in service coordination, currently serving as a Service Coordinator at Lucas Metropolitan Housing Authority since 1999. In this role, Michelle conducts client needs assessments and connects clients with cost-effective community services, while also developing and implementing educational programs such as GED and computer classes, as well as diversity training. Prior to this, Michelle held positions as a Service Coordinator at Vistula Management Co. and as a Children's Casemanager/Advocate at Lutheran Homes Society. Michelle holds a degree from Bowling Green State University, obtained in 1993.
Lucas Metropolitan Housing
Established in 1933, Lucas Metropolitan Housing (LMH) continues to provide affordable housing to adults, seniors and children in its Public Housing, Housing Choice Voucher, Mixed-Income and market rate housing units. LMH, also, provides a myriad of programs and opportunities designed to improve the total quality of life for our residents, with the ultimate goal of achieving self-sufficiency. The programs and services are the result of successful collaborations with numerous community partners. Our current housing portfolio consists of 2,669 public housing units; 4,732 Housing Choice Vouchers allocated units; 322 Low-Income Housing Tax Credit units; 198 Market Rate units; and, 107 Homeownership Properties.
