Gary Dauphin

Director, Digital Interpretation at Lucas Museum of Narrative Art

Gary Dauphin currently serves as the Director of Digital Interpretation at the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, overseeing both in-gallery and online digital efforts. With extensive experience in content strategy, community management, and project management, Gary has worked with a diverse range of clients including NPR West and the USC Race and Equity Center. Previous roles include Associate Curator of Digital Presentation at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, where Gary developed innovative digital platforms and exhibitions, as well as Vice President of Digital at KCETLink, where Gary enhanced digital content delivery. Gary's career began in journalism, with a notable tenure at the Village Voice, contributing film reviews, and has included numerous editorial roles at prominent organizations such as AOL and the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. Gary holds a BA in Film Studies from Yale University and a certificate in Speculative Fiction from the Clarion West Writers Workshop.
