James Y.

James Y. has extensive experience in the field of Information Technology. James currently serves as the Director of Information Technology at Lucas Oil Products. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of IT for the City of Noblesville at Sondhi Solutions. In this role, they were responsible for managing the IT department and ensuring the efficient operation of server infrastructure, network infrastructure, end user support, cyber security, data backup, and disaster recovery. Before that, James worked as the IT Manager for North America at Taghleef Industries, overseeing IT systems and coordinating with a global IT team. James also has experience as an I.S. Support Manager at BMWC Constructors, where they led and directed IS support staff and resources across multiple locations. James' earlier experiences include roles such as Youth Pastor, Network Administrator, Field Services Technician, Technical Lead, and Gunners Mate in the US Navy.

James Y. attended Ivy Tech Community College-Northwest from 2009 to 2010 but did not obtain a degree or study a specific field. Later, they attended IWU National & Global from 2012 to 2016 and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management, focusing on Business Administration and Management in general.

Additionally, James Y. has several certifications. James obtained the ITIL Foundations in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice in May 2015. James also holds certifications in Network+ from CompTIA, Microsoft Certified Professional in Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP from Microsoft, and A+ from CompTIA. James obtained the Network+ certification in July 2006, the Microsoft certifications in May and April 2006 respectively, and the A+ certification in February 2001.
