Benjamin Smeland

Benjamin Smeland is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience spanning over two decades in various companies. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Support Tech Lead at Lucas Systems since April 2020, Benjamin has previously held significant roles at Mortland Planning & Design Inc. as an Information Technology Specialist since 2005, and at Fragomen as a Software Engineer from May 2018 to November 2019. Additional experience includes project management and technical lead roles at Dynamics Inc., automated testing at Software Specialists, and independent authorship with a published science fiction work. Benjamin holds a Master of Science in Computer Information Science from Bellevue University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
