Martin Fiers

Martin Fiers is the Founder of Luceda Photonics, established in June 2014, where the focus is on providing photonic IC engineers with a design experience on par with that of electronic IC designers, backed by over 50 years of expertise in photonic integrated circuit design. Prior to this role, Martin Fiers was a post-doctoral researcher at Ghent University from April 2013 to May 2014, concentrating on business development for photonic design software within the photonics research group. Martin Fiers holds a PhD in Integrated Photonics with a focus on Machine Learning from Ghent University, obtained between 2008 and 2013, and a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the same institution, completed in 2008. In 2016, Martin Fiers became a Certified Scrum Product Owner through iLean.
