Hao Chen

Vice President, Informatics at Lucence

Hao Chen began their career in 2013 as a Project Officer and part-time Research Assistant at Nanyang Technological University. In 2014, they became a Research Officer at A*STAR - Agency for Science, Technology and Research. In 2017, they joined Lucence as Vice President of Informatics and then later as Director of Informatics. In this role, they worked with a team of exceptional individuals committed to a single cause: to fight cancer. In this role, they were also responsible for leading teams from diverse fields including oncology, laboratory medicine, technology development, bioinformatics and data science. Hao then moved to the role of Bioinformatics Manager at Lucence.

Hao Chen obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biotechnology from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2012. Hao then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Biomathematics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology at Nanyang Technological University Singapore, which they completed in 2013. In addition, Hao Chen has obtained various certifications from institutions such as DataCamp, Coursera Course Certificates, The Johns Hopkins University, and edX. Hao has also obtained two certifications from Amazon Web Services.
